The Ruby/Kilgallen “Secret Meeting.”
27 MarI recently received an e-mail asking if I knew what Jack Ruby told Dorothy Kilgallen.
That is an interesting question – and one I have been asked many times. It is a question that many who are familiar with the case wonder about.
What did he tell her? Was it something legitimate?
I wonder the same thing however, I don’t take it too seriously into consideration. It is worth noting that I didn’t place much emphasis on Dorothy’s meeting with Ruby in the “What Happened to Dorothy?” section of this website.
This was done purposefully, as while it is assumed that there was a private meeting, there is no actual proof of the details of said meeting.
There are questions surrounding it — was it, in fact, private? How long did it last? It is generally understood that the two met however, much about that meeting is cloaked in either many years worth of distorted storytelling or possibly secrecy.
In short, I don’t know what Ruby may have told Dorothy during their meeting. If he did tell her something of any substance, I doubt that having that information was a contributing factor in as much as her death is concerned.
I am curious though, as to what other people think. Does anyone have an idea of what he told her? Any good guesses?
Poll: Conspiracy or Not?
13 JanLately, there has been much discussion of how Dorothy ended up in the master bedroom on the night she passed away.
Some readers believe she was placed there, as if a conspiracy culminated to move her, set her up and make her appear as if she died there, naturally.
Other readers believe that the conspiracy aspect [the cover-up of her overdose] is misguided.
I’m putting this poll out there to gauge your thoughts on the matter.
So, readers — what do you think happened on the morning of November 8, 1965?
Another Evaluation.
28 DecIn the next month, I am going to meet with a medical examiner and have him review Dorothy’s autopsy report. He took an interest in the case after hearing about it and offered to review her autopsy and provide his opinion on things that were reported.
I would like to include you in this experience by asking — are there any questions anyone has that you would like me to ask him on your behalf?
If so, please e-mail me at kilgallenfiles@wordpress.com or comment to this post and I would be glad to do so.
